Founded in 2007 in Saint-Cyprien-de-Napierville, Fromagerie Le Métayer excels in the production of its Le Métayer cheddar in wheels and grains, its Samson d'ici, a semi-soft cheese, matured in surface and Exil 1838, a firm, surface-ripened cheese.
The Samson here was created in honor of the famous strongman Louis Cyr, originally from the region. Exile 1838 celebrates the courage of the Patriots, several of whom stayed in Napierville. All cheeses are made with passion…and always with 100% pure milk, without modified milk substances.
