The black raspberry tree is a very hardy plant, resistant to diseases and which does not sucker. It produces tasty, very firm black berries. Watch out for its thorny stems.

Growth: medium
Foliage: slightly prickly green.
Flowers : white flowering in spring
Fruits: the harvest lasts from the beginning of June to August, produces fairly large, firm and tasty black fruits.
Pruning: In spring, prune branches frozen after winter and those which no longer produce.
Maintenance: Requires fresh soil, rich in humus, loose and well drained. To improve fruit production, compost or an acidifying fertilizer can be applied every year. Be careful of birds, installing a net is strongly recommended.
