Workshops

Ferme Guyon offers various educational workshops in French, for children ages 5 to 12. The following workshops are only available according to season and by reservation only:

  • “From wheat to bread"
    Children will mill wheat to make flour, knead and shape the dough,
    which they get to bring home for baking.

  • “From milk to butter"
    Children will witness the different steps behind the fabrication of butter,
    by first churning cow’s milk into cream then into butter.

  • “From bee to honey"
    Children will discover the fascinating world of bees as well as the trade of beekeeper.

  • "From sheep to wool"
    Children will learn about the various steps required to make wool:
    from the shearing of a sheep to the making of a coil of wool to the weaving on a loom.
